ゲロ・グルントマンは、学際的なコミュニケーションデザイナーであり、とりわけインクルージョン、倫理、持続可能性、工芸に関心を寄せている。RCAを修了したグルントマンは、ロンドンおよびハンブルクを拠点とするデザインスタジオStudioBecを設立し、自身の妻でありパートナーであるジュリア・ローマンとともにさまざまな作品を作ってきた。また、在欧のデザインスクールの修士課程で教鞭を執り、ヨーロッパやアジアの学生を指導し、数多くのワークショップを成功に導いている。

Gero Grundmann

How can communication design turn people into explorers and makers, revive ancient crafts and help us make sense of complex social and cultural issues?
Gero Grundmann is a multidisciplinary communication designer working in London and Hamburg with a special interest in inclusion, ethics, sustainability and craft. Grundmann runs the London/Hamburg-based communication design studio Studio Bec developing projects with his wife and partner, the designer Julia Lohmann.
He teaches at European design schools, has co- authored an MA-level design curriculum, and led numerous workshops, and mentored design students and practitioners in Europe and Asia.
